Osprey Duro 15 Hydration Vest

The Osprey Duro 15 Hydration Vest is the perfect pack for long trail days. It has a 1.5 liter hydration bladder, and enough room to carry essential gear, food, and extra layers. The hip belt buckle broke, but I replaced it with a better buckle.

Pros

Many zippered compartments

Trekking pole and ice axe attachment

Snug fit works for running

Cons

Hip belt buckle broke (easily repaired)

Summary

This is a versatile, breathable, comfortable, and better alternative to a small hiking backpack. Other than the hip belt buckle, the pack is excellent. I love all the zippered pockets (hip belt) that allow easy access to essentials and snacks. I can take everything I need and not feel weighed down.

Who Should Buy?

Anyone that likes to move light and fast on the trails. At first, I had a 24-liter backpack that encouraged taking too much stuff on hikes which cost me energy. I looked for a lightweight pack that also had a hydration bladder. What I like about this one is that if you want to, you can run. Regular backpacks, even small ones, tend to swing and shake if you run. This one fits snugly to the body.
